The Dawg Core Values AwardIn recognition of the possession of those high qualities of Courage, Honor,Leadership, Scholarship and Service which are necessary to the preservationand protection of the fundamental institutions of our government andthe advancement of society.
It is presented to the student for excellence as an example of a young citizen who demonstrates the following qualities:

- Respect
- Integrity
- Drive
- Self-awareness
- Responsibility
- Pride
Greg & Sheila Marney Award
The award is presented to the student who consistently demonstrates the following qualities:
- Honesty
- Perseverance
- Respect
- Responsibility
John M. Halula Memorial Award
KSHSAA Citizenship AwardPresented annually to the student or students who best show increasedawareness and progress in academics, citizenship, and extra-curricularactivities while attending Rossville Jr. High.
Is presented for excellence as an exemplary young citizen, who hasdemonstrated a marked respect for country, assumed responsibilityfor improving school and community, and has shown reverence forlife.
Ron Napier Award
Teddy Schmid Memorial AwardIs given to the Rossville Junior High student who demonstrates school spirit and exemplifies leadership by promoting the excellence of others.
Is presented annually to the student attending Rossville Jr. High whodemonstrates the following qualities:
- Friendliness, sincerity, and a deep concern for others
- A great willingness to work hard towards goals
- A strong sense of making good decisions
- Respect for others
