St. Marys Weekly Activities:
Junior high track competed alongside nine other teams Thursday night in Silver Lake. It was a great showing of improvement, as a collective 50 PRs (personal records) were set! The team will have a week off before competing in our home invitational next Thursday, April 17.

The junior high track team kicked their season off at Rock Creek tonight. Along with Rock Creek, the team competed alongside Wamego, Riley County, Rossville, Council Grove, and Flint Hills Christian. The team started the season off strong with many great times and distances marked, with so much potential to improve upon going further. The Bears will have a quick turnaround before our second meet in Silver Lake this Thursday.

The anatomy students learned how to take blood pressure today.
The HS track meet scheduled for today at Chapman has been postponed until Monday, April 7.
The HS varsity baseball game against Santa Fe Trail, and the HS JV baseball games scheduled against Jeff West have been canceled due to the rain.

Junior High Band did a fantastic job at the Shawnee Heights music festival today! They received an Oustanding 1 rating and an Excellent 2+ rating!

Senior, Zoey Long, performed in the orchestra for the musical, “Waitress” at Topeka Civic Theater. Not only does she sing, but she is a cellist as well! The show ran from February 28 to March 29. We’re proud of you, Zoey!
