Jr.. Bears Cheer Camp!

Kicking off Spirit Week with kicking it in our PJ's!

Saddle up for Success! Our Cheryl has done it again--taking this years theme and bringing it to life. Each year it truly is magical watching our students walk in these doors looking around in awe. Then it is even more satisfying seeing families, parents, and members of our community doing the same. We are so fortunate to have Cheryl on our team and as a member of our SMGS family. Thank you Cheryl! Go Bears!!

Homecoming Spirit Week!

Ms. Sumner came and taught 3rd grade about Native American's today. They learned a lot about bison and teepees and were able to create their own teepee with native American symbols.

PT/OT/Speech Appreciation Day

First Pawsitive Call Home of the school year goes to Aiden S.! Aidan came back from the long weekend with a positive attitude and ready to work hard in the classroom. He is learning how to persevere and try his best. Great job Aiden!!

We are excited to recognize the students who earned a spot on our Student Council team this year! These students went through a thoughtful selection process that gave them the opportunity to demonstrate their leadership and commitment to representing their classmates.
Students completed an application sharing why they wanted to serve on STUCO, what leadership means to them, and examples of how they have demonstrated leadership. They also received three staff references based on their leadership and involvement at St. Marys Grade School.
Finally, each student had the opportunity to stand in front of their classmates and share why they wanted to represent their class as a Student Council member, followed by a classroom vote.
We are proud of all of the students who stepped up, put themselves out there, and demonstrated a willingness to lead. We look forward to seeing the positive impact this year’s STUCO members will make at SMGS! 🐻💙
5th Grade: Blair M, Gabby C, Sophia C, Harper H
6th Grade: Ryder R, Mailey H, Olivia O, Nikolai R

Mrs. Kerwin’s 3rd graders made ice cream in a bag today for science. They mixed half and half, vanilla, and sugar in a bag. Added it to a bigger bag of ice and salt , and shook it up!!! After about 10 minutes they had their very own homemade ice-cream!! It was all smiles and giggles during science today!
